Scope of Work

Home Run Dugout reimagines the great American pastime into a self-contained entertainment experience for all ages. Featuring 34 indoor batting cages, a full-sized outdoor wiffleball field, a live music stage, and a restaurant, the project required careful acoustical planning to ensure compliance with local noise ordinances and to minimize impacts on surrounding neighbors.

Outcome

Through extensive SoundPlan modeling, we evaluated the acoustic impact of all the aforementioned amenities, expanding the scope to include 250+ parking spaces and HVAC systems. Initial modeling showed that the original site layout would exceed noise limits at the nearest property line. By using SoundPlan, we were able to test alternative orientations, reposition noise sources, and adjust parking layouts—ultimately ensuring compliance with local regulations well before construction began.
