AV – Acoustics

Scope of Work

This project provides comprehensive audiovisual planning and design for a multi-use venue supporting assemblies, performances, athletic events, and community use. Work begins with stakeholder interviews and use-case mapping to define operational needs and establish performance criteria for sound levels, coverage, speech intelligibility, sightlines, and lighting conditions.

Design progresses through schematic and design development with venue zoning diagrams, device layouts, signal flow concepts, and coordinated plans, sections, and details. The system is fully documented in construction drawings and specifications, coordinated across architectural, engineering, and IT disciplines, with budget alignment throughout.

During bidding and construction, the team supports contractor evaluation, submittal review, and site observations to maintain design intent. Final services include system commissioning, tuning, owner training, and closeout documentation, delivering a fully operational AV system ready for long-term use.

Outcome

The project delivers a fully coordinated AV system that meets defined performance goals for clarity, coverage, and usability across all programmed uses. Early alignment between stakeholders, design, and budget reduces construction risk and change orders. The result is a reliable, easy-to-operate system that supports both daily use and special events.
