Scope of Work
VAI Resort is a bold and multifaceted development aimed to reshape Arizona’s hospitality and entertainment landscape. Poised to offer Arizona’s largest outdoor live music venue with a 360 degree rotating stage, a six acre pool with white sand beaches, a theme park, hot air balloon rides, convention spaces, 1,100+ rooms, and luxury amenities.
Our primary focuses; Minimize impact to surrounding community and ensure compliance with local noise ordinances, acoustically tune outdoor venue amphitheater for clarity and fidelity, design “invisible” or visually appealing noise mitigation solutions.Â
Outcome
Using EASE and SoundPlan for calculations, simulations, and auralizations, our final report presented 16 distinct scenarios with corresponding options and recommendations. The auralizations allowed our clients to hear how each scenario would sound from three different listener positions—within the audience, from the comfort of a hotel room, and while relaxing in the pool. Because this venue was designed to deliver a full experience regardless of vantage point, our goal was to ensure every guest could enjoy the same high-caliber performance without compromise.
