To accurately calculate the Apparent Sound Transmission Class (ASTC), you must gather frequency-specific data using spatial averaging in the source room.
Your Task: Use the virtual meter below to configure your device for an ASTM E336 Airborne reading. Once configured, hit RUN to collect a sample, then hit STOP. Finally, navigate to the Menu and select EXPORT DATA to see if your setup is correct.

Your team has placed a standard tapping machine on the floor assembly in the source room above you. You are stationed in the receiving room below to capture the Impact Sound Pressure Levels (ISPL).
